About Us

We design the process with you, then build it

Team planning with sticky notes on a glass wall

Co-innovation means your people and ours design the future together. You bring knowledge of your business; we bring SAP best practice and experience from 210+ projects.

You know your business. We know SAP. The best process comes from both.

You bring

  • How your business really works
  • What makes you different
  • The people who will use the system

We bring

  • SAP best practice
  • Experience from 210+ projects
  • Our own tools, apps and accelerators
Together: a process that fits your business, stays close to the SAP standard and is easy to upgrade.

Four steps, repeated with every SAP release

Our co-innovation method: four steps, repeated with every SAP release.
Our co-innovation method: four steps, repeated with every SAP release.

What happens at each step

Choose a step to see what your team does, what we do and what you get.

Step 1: Discover

Workshops and system data show how the process runs today and where it loses time and money.

Your team

  • Process owners and the people who run the process
  • Access to system data where it helps

INK

  • Process experts who run the workshops
  • Process mining on your real system data

You get: A current-state map, with the leaks and quick wins marked

Step 2: Co-design

We design the new process on SAP best practice, and agree with you which differences are worth keeping.

Your team

  • Decisions on what makes your business different
  • Key users who test the design

INK

  • SAP best practice and experience from 210+ projects
  • Fit-to-standard workshops on a live SAP system

You get: A future-state design, with a clear decision for every gap

  • Fit-to-standard
  • SAP best practices
  • Gap log

Step 3: Build

We configure SAP, build clean-core extensions on SAP BTP and test with your users.

Your team

  • Users who test real scenarios
  • Sign-off at each quality gate

INK

  • Configuration and clean-core extensions on SAP BTP
  • Automated testing and an INK quality gate at every phase

You get: A working system, tested by your users

Step 4: Scale

We roll out to more sites and processes, and keep improving with every SAP release.

Your team

  • Priorities for the next sites and processes
  • Feedback from users

INK

  • Rollouts site by site
  • Release management and continuous improvement with iCare AMS

You get: An improvement roadmap, and a system that gets better with every release

  • iCare AMS
  • Release management
  • Adoption tracking

Why it works better

Traditional delivery

  • Requirements written once and handed over
  • Custom code for every difference
  • Users see the system at the end
  • Improvement stops at go-live

Co-innovation with INK

  • The process designed together, on real data
  • SAP standard first, differences kept only where they add value
  • Users test as the system is built
  • Improvement continues with every SAP release

The result clients see: users adopt SAP 3× faster than the industry average.

Where co-innovation goes further

Start here, free

Process Discovery Workshop

Our process experts and your team map one process, such as order-to-cash or procure-to-pay, and find where it loses time and money.

  • Who attends: the process owner and 3–5 people who run it
  • You take away: a current-state map, a list of quick wins and a future-state sketch
  • Format: on-site or online

The Co-Innovation Lab

Bring us a business problem. Leave with a working prototype. Most good ideas never get past a slide. In the INK Co-Innovation Lab, your people and our engineers build the idea for real, on your own data, and test it with your users. In a few weeks you know whether it works, what it is worth and how to scale it.

4–6 weeks

from business problem to working prototype

Your data

built and tested with your real users

Clean core

built beside SAP on SAP BTP, so upgrades stay simple

Bring us a challenge like these

If it slows your people down or costs you money, it is a good lab candidate.

A busy process that needs an AI agent

Joule and custom AI agents that answer questions, draft documents and take action inside SAP.

An approval that takes too long

Automate routing, reminders and decisions with SAP Build Process Automation.

Numbers leaders don’t trust

One version of the truth on SAP Analytics Cloud and SAP Business Data Cloud.

Frontline teams working on paper

Simple mobile apps for shift workers, field staff and site teams.

A system that doesn’t talk to SAP

Connect it with SAP Integration Suite, APIs and events.

A compliance check done by hand

Rules, checks and audit trails that run automatically.

How a lab sprint runs

  1. Frame

We agree the problem, how success will be measured, the users and the data.

You get: Problem statement and success measures

  2. Build

Short sprints with a demo every week. You steer; we build.

You get: A working prototype on your data

  3. Prove

Your users test it in real scenarios, and we measure the result.

You get: User feedback and measured results

  4. Decide

Scale it, change it or stop it, with the facts in front of you.

You get: Business case and roadmap to production

What you leave with

  • A working prototype on your own data
  • A recorded demo and your users’ feedback

Frequently asked questions

What is co-innovation?

Your people and ours design the new process together. You bring knowledge of your business; we bring SAP best practice and experience from 210+ projects.

What do we get at each step?

A current-state map, a future-state design, a working system and an improvement roadmap.

How do we start?

With a free Process Discovery Workshop: we map one process with your team, and you keep the map whatever you decide next.

Do we need to be on S/4HANA to use the lab?

No. We build on SAP BTP, which connects to SAP ECC, S/4HANA, SAP Cloud ERP and SuccessFactors, and to non-SAP systems through SAP Integration Suite.

How much of our team's time does it take?

A process owner and two or three key users for the weekly demos and user testing, and an IT contact for access to systems and data.

What happens if the prototype works?

We agree a roadmap to production. Our Development Factory builds it out and iCare AMS supports it after go-live.

What if the idea doesn't work?

That is a useful result too. You find out in weeks, with a small investment, instead of after a full project.

Can the lab run at our site?

Yes. We run labs on site, remotely, or as a mix of both.

Not sure where to start?

Spend one day with us mapping a single process. You keep the map, whatever you decide next.
