The clock is running

  1. TodayPlan, assess and choose your path
  2. End of 2027Mainstream maintenance ends for ECC 6.0 (EHP 6–8)
  3. End of 2030Optional extended maintenance ends, at extra cost
  4. End of 2033Transition option ends: ECC in SAP’s private cloud, with RISE with SAP

Older ECC versions (enhancement packages 0–5) already left mainstream maintenance at the end of 2025. Check your version and plan from the date that applies to you.

A conversion needs assessment, preparation and rehearsals before go-live, and demand for experienced S/4HANA teams rises as the deadline nears. Starting now keeps your options open.

Where are you going?

Leaving ECC means choosing a destination as well as a path. We help you decide on facts, not on habit.

Risks we take off the table

Long downtime

Mock conversions size the outage window in advance, and SAP’s downtime-optimised conversion options are used where they fit.

Custom code that breaks

Code is analysed early, then fixed, replaced by standard or retired.

Finance numbers that don’t match

Every mock conversion is reconciled, so finance signs off with confidence.

Data problems found too late

Business Partner and finance checks run months before the conversion.

Users lost in new screens

Fiori roles, training and adoption support from day one.

Surprises after go-live

Hypercare, then iCare AMS support for every process.

Frequently asked questions

When does SAP support for ECC end?

For SAP ECC 6.0 on enhancement packages 6 to 8, mainstream maintenance ends at the end of 2027, with optional extended maintenance at extra cost until the end of 2030. Older enhancement packages (0 to 5) left mainstream maintenance at the end of 2025.

Can we stay on ECC after 2027?

Yes, for a time. You can buy extended maintenance until the end of 2030, or move ECC into SAP's private cloud under RISE with SAP and use the SAP ERP, private edition, transition option, supported until the end of 2033. Both buy time; the move to S/4HANA still has to happen.

What is the difference between greenfield, brownfield and selective?

Greenfield is a new implementation with data migration. Brownfield converts your existing system, keeping history and custom code. Selective data transition moves chosen parts, such as certain company codes or years of data.

How long does a conversion take?

It depends on system size, custom code and data volume. Our readiness assessment gives you a plan and timeline before you commit.

Will the business have to stop during the conversion?

Only for the planned cutover window. Mock conversions size that window in advance, SAP's downtime-optimised conversion options are used where they fit, and a dual landscape lets other project work continue during the move.

Should we go to RISE or GROW?

RISE suits a conversion that keeps history and custom code. GROW suits a fresh start on SAP best practice. We help you decide in the readiness assessment.
