Frequently asked questions

When does SAP support for ECC end?

For SAP ECC 6.0 on enhancement packages 6 to 8, mainstream maintenance ends at the end of 2027, with optional extended maintenance at extra cost until the end of 2030. Older enhancement packages (0 to 5) left mainstream maintenance at the end of 2025.

Will the business have to stop during the conversion?

Only for the planned cutover window. Mock conversions size that window in advance, SAP's downtime-optimised conversion options are used where they fit, and a dual landscape lets other project work continue during the move.

What is clean core?

An approach where SAP's standard code stays untouched. Custom logic is built with key-user tools, ABAP Cloud or on SAP BTP, using only released interfaces, so upgrades install without rework.

Who supports us after the move?

SAP runs the infrastructure and technical operations. Our iCare AMS team supports your business processes under SLA.

Can your engineers build AI agents that work with SAP?

Yes. Our AI agent developers connect agents to SAP through standard APIs and the Model Context Protocol (MCP), with permissions, approvals and audit trails.
