Cookie Policy

Draft for review by INK's legal team. Not legal advice. Approve or amend before launch.

This policy explains how the INK Business Solutions website (the “site”) uses cookies and similar technologies, and the choices you have. It should be read with our Privacy Policy.

Version: 2026-10 (draft) · Last updated: date of approval

In short

  • The site works fully without any optional cookies.
  • We use no advertising, marketing or social-media tracking cookies, and we do not sell or share your data for advertising.
  • Analytics tools load only after you say yes. Until then, nothing is set except a record of your choice.
  • Accept all, Reject all and Choose are equally easy, and you can change your mind at any time with Cookie settings in the footer of every page.
  • If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as “Reject all”.

What cookies and similar technologies are

Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. “Similar technologies” include browser storage (local storage) and scripts that read or write information on your device. In this policy, “cookies” covers all of these.

The cookies we use

1. Strictly necessary (always on)

Needed to run the site and remember your privacy choice. They do not track you and need no consent.

Name Provider Purpose Type Duration
ink-consent INK (this site) Stores your cookie choices, the date and the policy version, so we do not ask again on every page Browser local storage 12 months, then we ask again

Our enquiry forms do not use cookies. The email verification code is checked by our server and is not stored in your browser.

2. Site analytics (optional): Google Analytics 4

Helps us understand how many people visit, how they arrive and which pages are useful. Loaded only if you accept “Site analytics”. We use it with Google Consent Mode v2, with all advertising signals switched off and Google signals disabled.

Name Provider Purpose Type Duration
_ga Google Distinguishes one visitor from another First-party cookie 2 years
_ga_<ID> Google Keeps the state of your current session First-party cookie 2 years

3. Experience insights (optional): Microsoft Clarity

Shows how pages are used (clicks, scrolling and anonymised session replays) so we can fix pages that do not work well. Loaded only if you accept “Experience insights”. Clarity is set to mask the text you type into forms. We send Clarity its consent signal (Consent API v2), and when you withdraw consent we instruct it to delete its cookies.

Name Provider Purpose Type Duration
_clck Microsoft Keeps the same Clarity user ID across visits to this site First-party cookie Set by Microsoft (see link below)
_clsk Microsoft Links several page views into one session recording First-party cookie Set by Microsoft
CLID Microsoft Identifies the first time Clarity saw this browser Third-party cookie Set by Microsoft
MUID, MR, SM, ANONCHK Microsoft Microsoft operational cookies used by Clarity (Clarity does not use them for advertising) Third-party cookies Set by Microsoft

See Microsoft’s current Clarity cookie list and Google’s Analytics cookie list.

What we do not use

  • No advertising or retargeting cookies (for example Google Ads, Meta or LinkedIn pixels).
  • No social-media plugins that track you. Links to our LinkedIn page are plain links.
  • Our “Ask IBS” assistant runs in your browser and stores nothing.

If we ever add a new type of cookie, we will update this policy, change its version and ask for your consent again.

  • First visit: choose Accept all, Reject all or Choose in the banner. Closing the page without choosing means no optional cookies are set.
  • Change your mind: click Cookie settings in the footer of any page. Turning a switch off takes effect immediately: the tool stops, its cookies on our domain are deleted and the page reloads.
  • Browser controls: you can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or turn on Global Privacy Control. Blocking strictly necessary storage means we cannot remember your choice and will ask again.
  • We ask again after 12 months, or sooner if this policy changes.

Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing that took place before you withdrew it.
